These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rumi Pilates website at rumipilates.com and your purchase of any memberships, class packs, subscriptions, or studio services from Rumi Pilates LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By making a purchase or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Authorization to Charge
By providing your payment method, you authorize Rumi Pilates LLC to charge it for:
- Recurring membership fees (if applicable)
- Additional class fees beyond your plan allowance
- Late cancellation and no-show fees
- Any applicable freeze or add-on charges
This authorization remains in effect until canceled in accordance with our cancellation policies.
2. Auto-Renewing Memberships
If you purchase an auto-renewing membership, you acknowledge and agree:
- Your membership renews automatically each month on your billing date.
- Your card on file is charged monthly until you cancel in writing.
- Cancellation requires at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing cycle.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to hello@rumipilates.com or in person at the studio.
3. Class Packs & Drop-Ins
All class packs are non-transferable and non-refundable. Class packs are valid for use within the expiration period specified at time of purchase. It is your responsibility to use your sessions before they expire. Current pricing is available on our website and at the studio.
4. Late Cancel & No-Show Policy
The following fees apply because each booking reserves instructor time and studio space that cannot be offered to other clients:
- Canceling a group class less than 8 hours before the scheduled start time results in a late cancellation fee.
- Failing to attend a scheduled class without canceling results in a no-show fee.
- Private sessions canceled within 12 hours are charged a partial session fee. Sessions canceled within 2 hours or no-showed are charged the full session rate and the session is forfeited.
- All late cancel and no-show fees are automatically charged to your card on file.
By booking a class, you acknowledge that these fees are service reservation fees — not based on attendance or physical product delivery.
5. Waitlist Policy
If you are added to a class from the waitlist and cancel less than 8 hours before class, or fail to attend, the standard late cancellation or no-show policy applies. If you cannot attend after being moved from the waitlist, you must remove yourself to avoid fees.
6. Membership Freeze Policy
Members may request a temporary pause of their membership under the following conditions:
- A monthly freeze fee applies for the duration of the freeze.
- Your membership renewal date is pushed forward by one month for each frozen month.
- Freezes remain active until you contact us in writing to remove the freeze.
- Freeze requests must be submitted in writing to hello@rumipilates.com.
7. Membership & Class Pack Usage
All memberships and class packs are non-transferable and non-refundable. Memberships are personal to the purchaser and may not be shared or transferred. If you exceed your monthly class allowance under a session-limited membership, additional classes are billed at the applicable drop-in rate.
8. Refund Policy
All purchases — including memberships, class packs, drop-ins, late/no-show fees, and freeze fees — are strictly non-refundable unless there is a billing error caused by Rumi Pilates. No exceptions for unused sessions, schedule changes, or personal circumstances.
9. Dispute Policy & Acknowledgment of Services Rendered
By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree:
- Class reservations are considered delivered services upon booking, even if you do not attend.
- Late cancel and no-show fees are charges for reserving space and instructor time, not for physical products.
- You agree not to initiate a chargeback based on “product not received” or “unauthorized charge” if these charges align with these policies.
- Your digital waiver, booking records, check-in history, and account activity may be used as evidence in any billing dispute or chargeback review.
- If a chargeback is initiated in violation of these terms, your account may be permanently suspended.
10. Billing Descriptor
Charges may appear on your billing statement as “Rumi Pilates” or “Rumi Pilates LLC.” You agree not to dispute charges based on confusion regarding this descriptor.
11. Studio Policies
By participating in classes at Rumi Pilates, you agree to:
- Wear Pilates grip socks during all group classes and private sessions.
- Refrain from cell phone use during class.
- Arrive on time — late arrivals may not be permitted entry and remain subject to the cancellation/no-show policy.
- Treat all staff, instructors, and fellow clients with respect.
Violation of studio rules may result in suspension or termination of your membership without refund.
12. Inclement Weather & Emergency Closures
In the event of studio closures due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances, memberships will not be extended or refunded. We will make reasonable efforts to notify members via email or the booking app.
13. Third-Party Booking Platform — Mindbody
Class booking and membership management are handled through Mindbody. By using our booking system, you also agree to:

Rumi Pilates is not responsible for outages, errors, or issues with the Mindbody platform. If you encounter a technical issue, contact us at hello@rumipilates.com.
14. Technical Issues
Rumi Pilates is not responsible for internet outages, booking system errors, or software issues that affect your ability to schedule or cancel classes. Contact us immediately at hello@rumipilates.com if you encounter a technical issue.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes not resolved through the arbitration process set forth in your signed waiver shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Los Angeles County, California.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted at rumipilates.com/terms-of-service with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
